Newman, Thompson & Gray PC offers all of your farmland ownership and planning needs.  Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mark Newman was a full-time auctioneer.  Mark continues to conduct professional, live auctions of your farmland. Jason Hallberg, auctioneer and owner of Hallberg Auction, also recently joined our office.

In the past ten years, Newman Thompson Gray has sold over 3,601 acres of farmland at auction in Iowa and Southern Minnesota with sales of approximately $35,000,000.  The auction method consistently brings a satisfying return. A recent Mitchell County farm recently brought $17,900 at open, public auction with over 50 people in attendance. In 2022, our auctions brought an average price of $14,000 per acre.
